6th August
With a lovely lie in, lots of speed and a bit of rain, as sad as it is to admit...it is our last day.
Megan T - Trotti biking was fun because we didn’t have to run the cable car because it was a bit small but the views were amazing!
Amelia - I enjoyed the trotti biking because me, Bron and Holly went down before anyone else’s and we weren’t very very fast 😊
Olivia - On the trotti bikes we had to hold the breaks for most of it. Also, it was really fun going down the hill. But I didn’t like it when I cut my knee.
Daisy and Sophie - Our room got chocolate (TWICE!) because our room was clean and our towels... Our song was ‘interesting’. RIP Chris’ reputation.
Isabel - Dean says that netball is NOT a sport! Not true!
Emily W - After tea, we all went into the meeting place and found out who won the room inspections. Room 12 won best acting! (Enily W and S, Issy C and Poppy). Then we all tried yodelling and even Deano and Toby the Toblerone did it. It was so fun! Also I left the sandwich, that I didn’t eat last Monday in my suitcase for 10 daus and it was really mouldy! X
Chloe - Today was a great day. Chris managed to get my group lost on our trotti biking. I really enjoyed our night karaoke. It was great fun. I will be very sad to leave.
With a fabulous last day, with lots of hugs and songs. Thanks for staying update! were so excited to see you all!
Massive thank you to all the girls for behaving so well and making this a lovely trip. Also thank you to Holly and Pia for collecting all the quotes for this meaning I just had to put all their hard work into this blog!

Carolyn asked the girls what they learned about themselves and here are their responses.
I have learnt that Isabel a lot more courage than I thought.
Bron and I are more alike than I thought.
That I like white water rafting.
I have a really good memory for songs.
I can overcome fears, that I never really knew I had really really easily and that it’s better to try something than refuse.
I learnt that I can challenge myself even out of my comfort zone.
I tried everything and was more confident with putting my hand up than I thought I’d be.
I have learnt I can eat food that I don’t like very much a.k.a. Mushrooms.
I learnt that I can’t walk for ages without my legs aching.
I have learnt that I can walk further than I thought and that I can be tidy.
I learnt that I am good at walking.
I have learnt that I can live without a phone.
Being brave and confident in myself and knowing that I am not alone or too shy.
That I love getting in the sea/river/lakes from now on!!
I have learnt that if I am NOT stubborn I can enjoy things.
I can do it even if I am scared.
That I have amazing Best and Close friends.
That if you face your fears it’s actually fun and not that bad 😊
I’ve learnt to be resilient and optimistic even when I’m wet, cold and hungry.
I have learnt that I’m not scared of anything (almost) and that I can survive without my mum and dad for 10 days. I had such a lovely time and will remember and treasure this amazing experience.
